July 26th, 2008 Hartford, CT Dodge Music Center lawn seats On July 26th, 2008 I went to the Jonas Brothers Concert and the most amazing thing happened! We were walking out before they did an encore so we could get to our car before there was a big crowd. Next to the sidewalk there was this alleyway and there was a bus coming down it really slow, about 5feet away from us. We didnt think it was the Jonas Brothers, but then standing in the front window was Joe and Nick and they were so cute! They were waving to everyone and Joe waved directly at me =] I was trying to get Nick to see me, but he was just standing there looking straight ahead! That was definitely the BEST night of my life C:

The new one-hour show will air at 10 p.m. EST ( making it the first-ever program of its type to air five nights a week on prime-time U.S. TV and marking a shift in the way NBC programs the most lucrative period for TV advertising revenue. 58-year-old Leno said he looks forward to trying something new. At a news conference Leno described the new show, initially titled "The Jay Leno Show." "I'm going to take elements that work. People like monologue, the news, topical stuff. I'll probably take headlines, man on the street stuff... not exactly the same, but those elements will remain. As Ben said, maybe more stunts, it won't just be comedy, comedy, first guest, second guest, music as we traditionally do on "The Tonight Show." So we'll get out of the studio a little bit more and come up with some interesting things to keep it fresh and a little more newsmakers, a little more topical stuff." Leno said the exact format was still being worked out but there would be a live audience in the Burbank studio outside Los Angeles, and possibly more stunts outside the studio. Leno's future had been in question since NBC surprised the TV business four years ago by announcing he would step down from "Tonight" in May 2009, to be replaced by Conan O'Brien, who currently hosts NBC's "Late Night" show that follows Leno. NBC executives told journalists the deal fulfilled two goals -- keeping the popular comedian in the NBC family and stopping him from competing against them on another network. Leno is America's favorite late-night TV chat show host with an average 4.8 million viewers this season, and he regularly beats CBS rival David Letterman in ratings. NBC, which lags its rivals in fourth place among the major U.S. networks, said the move to prime-time TV would bring Leno a new audience in the earlier time slot.
