6/365 late once again lol i was installing my new photoshop software and then realized i needed a server pack and that took forever too...sorry!!

local las vegas emcee goo mcfly was amped enough to let me shoot him as my first actual photoshoot using lighting..im still learning all the ins and outs of shadowing and placement but i definitely know how to position the subject..so thank u my fellow campfire music member :D

by the way he was great to shoot with so natural and we've known eachother for a decade now lol love ya guy

We bought the game "wii music" for Christmas, and I have to say it has worked wonders for Katie's music appreciation!

Here she is conducting"The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi. She wanted to know all about Vivaldi and Beethoven, and the game lets them play every instrument under the sun.
That has to be a brilliant way of introducing classical music to a child!
And, having played and listened to "Guitar Hero" I have absolutely fallen in love with the song "When you were young" by the Killers. Can't stop playing it, and I had never heard it before!

Benjamin Herman behoort zonder twijfel tot de meest getalenteerde, productieve en succesvolle musici van ons land. De altsaxofonist is bij veel mensen vooral bekend als oprichter en bandleider van het swingende New Cool Collective, maar hij is ook regelmatig naast andere musici te bewonderen, bijvoorbeeld in het jazzprogramma van Hans Teeuwen.

Onlangs won Herman een Edison in de categorie Jazz Nationaal voor zijn cd Campert en Esquire riep hem vanwege z'n strakke maatpakken uit tot De Best Geklede Man van 2008. Het gaat hem dus voor de wind, zou je kunnen zeggen. En terecht.

Niet alleen is Herman een begenadigd musicus, hij is ook een entertainer die tijdens concerten met veel humor de gespeelde nummers uitlegt en tijdens solo's van de andere muzikanten hen schreeuwend aanmoedigt, wat voor een ongelooflijke energie op het podium én in de zaal zorgt.

Om een betere indruk te krijgen kun je op YouTube een videofragment van het concert in Museum Beelden aan Zee bekijken (de fotograaf die op 0:40 het beeld komt verstoren ben ik trouwens).
